Yep, it’s almost that time of year again. The Gourmet Girl and I are becoming another year older! To start the celebration off, I came up with an addicting and super fun take on candy fudge. I give you: Birthday Cake Fudge. It tastes just like the real thing…maybe better?! Enjoy!
Line an 8×8 inch pan with nonstick foil
Place water in a microwave safe bowl with butter.
Stir mixture and add candy wafers
Microwave for another 30 seconds until it becomes syrupy.
Stir in the pudding mix and stir until it is completely dissolved. Add the cake batter flavoring. Follow with the sifted confectioner’s sugar (making sure to add one cup at a time.
Spread into the prepared pan and top with sprinkles, marshmallows, and chopped birthday cake Oreos.Gently press toppings into fudge to ensure staying power.
Allow fudge to cool completely before cutting into squares (You can speed this process by refrigerating it)
